What is Local Cryotherapy
Local Cryotherapy is a 2 to 3 minute targeted treatment of cold air to a specific muscle area or spasm. Localized cold air treatments reach -25° to -40° F, and are able to drop skin temperatures rapidly without discomfort as our technicians are trained to measure skin temperature, watch the treated area for coloration changes, and interact with the customer to ensure comfort during treatments. Common local treatment areas are such as lower back, neck, hamstring, ankle, knee, wrist, fingers, and elbows. Clients often come in post-surgery for help with bruising and swelling. Don’t be afraid to try our facial rejuvenation treatments which not only feel good but stimulate collagen production leading to more firm, smooth, and elastic skin.
We recommend Whole Body Chamber (systemic) followed by localized cold air (targeted) after a short rewarming period for the best results.
Local Cryotherapy Benefits Include:
Flushing the tissue of fluid and waste rapidly
Reducing Inflammation
Massive return of regenerative blood supply rewarming occurs quickly after application
Improving range of motion
